It all started with the removal of cementitious render

We were invited to estimate for the removal of cracked cementitious render on what appeared to be a 18c cottage. upon investigation, we could see that there were underlying timbers and wattle and daub. taking one elevation at a time, we removed the render, carefully repaired the timber frame and wattle and daub, restoring what is a 1400 open hall to its former form.
